The common "How was your day" is sometimes greeted with a "fine" or "ok" answer from your child. Talking to your child about how their day was is a very important part of the day. This is where you can celebrate the daily achievements and problem solve on the points where frustration and anger might have settled. The approach to this daily question should be a positive experience for all that are involved.
As teachers, we want to know if your child is having a problem at school and we are here to work with both you and your child to solve those problems. We are also here to join in on the celebrations and achievements your child makes and want to know about those as well.
